Clean Everest 360°

We envision a clean Everest, where nature and people coexist in harmony, each giving back to the other.

Rooted in Tibetan ancestral values of care and balance, our project seeks to restore this sacred relationship between humans and the mountain.

Clean Everest is a cross-border initiative tackling the waste crisis on both sides of Mount Everest. We implement a full-scale waste management system that reduces waste at the source, enables proper collection and segregation, and facilitates recycling.

This is not just an environmental effort, it’s a movement grounded in Tibetan values of care and respect for nature, designed and led in close collaboration with local communities, governments, and NGOs.

Why 360°?

Because tackling pollution on Everest requires a full-circle approach, we developed a 360° project.

10 Years in Tibet, Now in Nepal

It all started in Tibet in 2012, from the observation of the massive pollution issues on Everest. The project amplified, keeping at its core the deep connection to the Tibetan caring values and vision of the mountains. It then spread to Nepal, with significant impact until now.
